the caterpillar counter

it is harder and harder for keegan to understand where his daddy is :( he said today that he has been gone "way too long". the time concept hasn't quite caught on, so we made a caterpillar counter for him to tear away each day that is left until he gets to see daddy.

Josh's sister squadron is in the midst of deployment preparations. I was on the beach for a photo session and realized the switch is around the corner. They are replacing the USS Ronald Reagan 'out there'. One step closer to a homecoming for our guys!
