Yes... I know. I am SOooooo behind on posting. I have a million pictures to share with you. It will be a bit longer.

We returned from Portugal with a handful of irritating things to deal with. Currently, I am policing my {Italian mafia} landlord as he and the {Italian} electrician attempt to fix our water pump, water cleanliness, gate and house alarm. All of these things went to shit while we were gone. Oh... and they have all been previously 'fixed' in the past. Yesterday I had to restock our entire fridge because we lost everything... again, due to the electrical flicker (outages). Only about $600 lost.

So, I've been quite busy. We also have 1 month's worth of laundry waiting to be washed. Yippeeee!

Hold your giraffes people... I've been gone for a long time. We head back to Naples tomorrow. I will resume posting later this week!

a few pictures from Briana's visit

Briana's visit happened to be when the sunflowers were in bloom. Fields of flowers as far as you can see!
Keegan loves trying new things. Here he is drinking water from a cup. He thought he was really cool!
Ravello (a small town on top of a mountain on the Amalfi coast)
Briana was getting ready to enjoy pizza from my favorite place in Sorrento.
Keegan checking out the sunbathing Italians below.

The boat ride on the way to the Blue Grotto (Capri). Keegan enjoyed every moment of the ride. He studied the water, the boat, the people...
The boats lining up to get into the Grotto.
I love this picture of them!
Keegan sitting in the big boy chair for our cliff-side lunch in Capri.
Overlooking Napoli from my friend Kari's house.

9 Month Wellness Visit

We just got back from Keegan's 9 month appointment. Everything went well, so I'll get to the details that family likes to hear...

17 lbs.
31 inches
one tall and skinny kid!

The doctor says that the 12 month appointment will basically tell us his structure for the rest of his life. If he continues to grow faster than he puts on weight... a 'biehn'-pole he will be. (haha)

An update on what he is doing these days...

Keegan is crawling, standing, talking (saying mama and dada (and a bunch of other things that us adults cannot understand)), eating grown-up food, and getting into as many things as he possibly can.

I will post some more pictures soon. Briana is in town visiting, so we have been on the go!
